My name is Linda Dupree and I live in Raleigh, NC. I am a native to North Carolina. I have four beautiful children and a wonderful husband, and a Grandson! (Yes, he is just too cute and sweet!) The rest of my family consist of our great-fur-kids, mostly Chihuahuas & Pomeranians. Our youngest daughter, Madison, is 26 years old now. That is a miracle! You see, Madison was diagnosed with terminal cancer when she was only 3.5 years old. We are so very blessed to have her still with us! We were able to depend on the doctors, but God was always in control. She is truly our miracle child and the light of the world to so many people.
When Madison started getting well, she let us know that she wanted to raise Chihuahuas. We started doing some research and decided to purchase our first baby girl from our dear friend, Annette Sellew. We named her Zoe Girl. After that we were definitely hooked! Then came Kissy, Bay Bee, Roza Lee and Tazz, and we slowly grew from there. Each one is so special to us! We soon discovered that Chris & Poms loved to be around each other and decided to add a few Poms to the family. Taking care of our precious fur-kids is a family affair and great therapy for us. The whole family is involved with daily activities. We are a team that works and plays together with our dogs.
Our retirees hang out in the climate controlled "Puppy House" and watch their favorite cable shows all day. At night, classical music plays for a restful sleep. When you take home a puppy from MSD Pups 2 Love - we have done quite a bit for your new baby! For starters, our babies are raised in our sun room (home)and are handled carefully each day. We are a non-smoking home, for the health of our puppies and oursevles. We allow our moms to wean their pups at their own pace, and This helps to ensure better immune systems and overall better health of the pups. When the babies are about 4 weeks old, Madison starts daily play sessions with them. This helps with their social skills and ensures an easier transition to their new homes. Our babies are NEVER caged or crated. We use large puppy playpens. All puppies will leave UTD on vaccines and dew claws are done. A trip to the vet before leaving our home is important also. During this exam, heart, lungs, teeth, knees and an overall assessment is performed.
Our puppies will be sold mostly as pets with a neuter/spay agreement. Please e-mail us for a copy of our contract for you to review. It is extremely important where our babies will spend the rest of their lives. We never sell our puppies to pet stores, brokers or any one we are not totally comfortable about them owning one of our pups. All puppies or dogs must be picked up in person. Absolutly no shipping!!! We can travel to meet you depending oh how far away you are. Traveling fees will aplly.
A personal lasting relationship with our new puppy clients is encouraged. We are always so excited to get puppy updates and, of course, updated pictures! Babies leave us with a care package that includes medical records, some of the food they are use to, a toy, and a home-made blanket. We are in compliance with AKC's Care and Conditions. All of our adult dogs that we allow to breed are registered with the American Kennel Club. We do have some dogs dual registered with the Canadian Kennel Club. These dogs are show in Canada by our fantastic handler, Michelle Norwood. We now provide APRI papers for our pet owners.
